U.S. stocks were mixed, with the S&P 500 Index down after its best week in more than a year, as investors assessed the prospects for corporate earnings, while the dollar strengthened after three straight weekly declines.

Libor should continue moving higher in the near-term as the Fed comes closer to a rate hike, JPMorgan strategists led by Alex Roever said in Jan. 5 note.
