U.S. Treasuries tumbled anew on Wednesday, pushing up inflation expectations as traders continued to price in a quicker economic rebound from the pandemic.

Initial jobless claims in regular state programs totaled 745,000 in the week ended Feb. 27, up 9,000 from the prior week, Labor Department data showed Thursday. Economists in a Bloomberg survey estimated 750,000 claims.

A key risk facing Asia central banks is a jump in bond yields that is not justified by the strength of their economies, and challenge those who have an official yield target.
