Millennium Corporate Announces New President/CEO

Millennium Corporate Credit Union announces current Chief Operations Officer/Executive Vice President Kent Gleason has been named President/CEO, effective June 1, 2024.

Mr. Gleason began his credit union career in 1990 as a Kansas Credit Union Association League Consultant. After 2 years, Kent assumed the role of Asset Liability Analyst with the Kansas Corporate Credit Union. In 1997, Kent was promoted to Executive VIce President overseeing the Corporate's portfolio, asset/liability management and operations, and was appointed Chair of the Asset Liability Committee. In 2016, Kent was named Chief Operations Officer overseeing all operations while continuing his EVP duties.

During his tenure, Kent was instrumental in the design and development of the Investment Advisory Service now know as AIM - Asset & Investment Management, overseeing the merger with Missouri Corporate Credit Union in 2015 as he served as Interim President/CEO during that time, managing the rebranding initiative that occurred in 2016, and serving as the CU Investment Solutions, LLC (CU-ISI) Secretary for the last 6 years. Kent played an integral role in managing the financial crisis recovery, growing retained earnings to the current ratio of 8.5% and returning $26 million in extinguished capital to members, as well as bringing item processing to Millennium Corporate and investing in the service to ensure credit unions have a state-of-the-art solution.

The Board and I are confident in his ability to lead this organization forward," shares Tom Kjar, Millennium Corporate Board Chair and Creighton Federal Credit Union President/CEO.

Kent is a lifetime resident of Wichita, KS, having moved there with his family as a child. He met his future wife while attending Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration while playing center field for their baseball team. He spent years coaching his children's baseball and basketball teams and remains an avid KSU Wildcat supporter.

Kent will assume President/CEO responsibilities effective June 1, 2024.
