Millennium Corporate Credit Union is pleased to announce its new strategic partnership with Pidgin, an innovative instant payments platform that provides financial institutions with a streamlined connection to multiple faster payment networks.
Through this partnership, Millennium’s nearly 300 member credit unions will have access to instant payment capabilities, including the Federal Reserve’s FedNow Service, The Clearing House’s RTP network and other payment options through a single platform. Pidgin’s technology is designed to connect a credit union’s core processing system, digital banking and other third-party applications with multiple payment networks while keeping funds within the financial institution rather than in a third-party holding account.
Faster payments continue to gain momentum across the financial services industry. While some Millennium members are already participating in faster payment networks, others are evaluating how these capabilities can benefit their organizations and members. This partnership provides another pathway for credit unions to explore and implement instant payment solutions as their needs evolve.
