Millennium Corporate Credit Union is actively seeking applicants for an Accountant position. Qualified candidates must have extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP). Bachelors degree, emphasis in Business, Accounting or Finance required. Financial institution experience is desired. This is a full-time, salaried position.
Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of monthly prepared financial statements and monthly 5310 Call Report; reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records; establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Qualified candidates must be dependable; demonstrate professional and courteous service to our members; and work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must always professionally represent yourself and Millennium Corporate
- Must be proficient in office software applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be able to work full-time hours M-F
- Must be able to work out of office in St. Louis, MO
- Must be comfortable traveling independently.
