About the Economist
Mike Schenk, a financial services veteran with over 40 years of experience, previously served as Chief Economist for America’s Credit Unions, where he pioneered the use of big data. Currently, he consults through People Not Profit, LLC, and serves as a Strategic Advisor for the Filene Research Institute to advance credit union innovation. Additionally, Schenk has spent 20 years on the board of the $7.5 billion Summit Credit Union, where he has held multiple leadership roles, including Treasurer.
