The S&P 500 rose 0.5%. The Nasdaq 100 climbed 1.1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.2%. A Bloomberg gauge of the “Magnificent Seven” megacaps gained 1%. The Russell 2000 fell 0.1%. The yield on 10-year Treasuries was little changed at 4.57%. The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index was little changed.

President Donald Trump is preparing to take his show on the road after a shock-and-awe flurry of executive actions that have flipped US priorities on everything from climate policy to diversity and inclusion. Republicans, who narrowly control the House and Senate, have yet to find agreement on how to move Trump’s ambitious plans through Congress.
