Millennium Corporate Credit Union is actively seeking applicants for the Account Specialist position. Qualified candidates must have basic accounting skills, a working knowledge of Excel, and strong communication skills. Financial institution experience is desired. This is a full-time, hourly position in our Member Service/Operations Department in Wichita, Kansas.
Daily responsibilities include performing inbound and outbound transactional processing activities, reconciling general ledger accounts, providing customer support via phone, email, or Teams in a timely and professional manner and supporting team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Candidates should be knowledgeable about bank systems, accounts, products, and services to assist members effectively.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong customer service presence with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Software Applications - Excel, Word, etc.
- Detail-oriented and capable of executing tasks with accuracy.
- Self-starter who is motivated to complete tasks independently.
- Team player who works well within a group.
- Dedicated and professional, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.
- Must be able to work full-time (M-F) in Wichita, Kansas.
